Located in the heart of Old Spitalfields Market, Wright Brothers Spitalfields boasts a stunning marble oyster bar in the centre of the restaurant, as well as al fresco dining on the market terrace.
Head Chef Richard Kirkwood’s seasonal menus feature the finest quality fish, seafood and a selection of oysters from the British Isles, France and of course our Frenchman’s Creek from our Cornish Duchy oyster farm.
The Market Terrace offers a more relaxed dining experience, where you can soak up the vibrant market atmosphere. The terrace is ideal for large bookings and available for private hire, accommodating parties of up to 30 guests seated for set or sharing-style menus or 40 standing. See our set menus here.
If you are as obsessed by oysters as us, or simply wanting to experience your #firstoystermoment, happy hour is not to be missed every day between 3pm and 6pm when oysters are £1 a pop!
For those in a rush there is an Express Menu available at lunch Monday to Friday between 12-3pm.
Domaine Fouassier Wine Dinner
Our next wine dinner is on Tuesday 16th August in the Market Terrace with Domaine Fouassier, a leading producer of Sancerre wines.
Domaine Fouassier was established in 1749 and is one of the most established wine growing families in the Sancerre region of the Loire Valley. With a history that spans over several generations they still honour the terroir as their ancestors did. During the dinner you will have the chance to try five different wines where you will taste the impact of three different soil types of the vineyard (Caillottes, Terres blanches & Silex).
Each course has been specially curated by Head Chef Richard Kirkwood to complement and enhance the flavours of the wines. Expect smoked and tempura oysters with Les Chailloux Sancerre 2014 and a classic smooth Dover sole ‘Veronique’ paired with Clos Paradis Sancerre 2014. For the full menu please click here.
